Before you contact support

  • Make sure NitroGPT is enabled in your browser's extension management page.
  • Check that you're using a supported browser: Google Chrome, Firefox, or a supported Chromium-based browser.
  • Reload the ChatGPT page (F5 or Ctrl+R) and try again.
  • If you're having license issues, check that your license key and purchase email match exactly what was in your order confirmation.

How to activate your license

After purchasing, you'll receive a license key by email.

  1. Click the NitroGPT extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the popup.
  2. Scroll down to the license section.
  3. Enter your purchase email and license key exactly as they appear in your order confirmation.
  4. Click Activate.

Deactivating a browser

You can deactivate NitroGPT on your current browser at any time from the popup: open NitroGPT → scroll to the License section → click Deactivate this browser. This frees up one of your 3 active browser installations.

Activation limit help

All paid plans include 3 active browser installations. If you've reached the limit and can't deactivate an old browser (e.g. the browser was uninstalled or the computer was replaced), open a support ticket and we can help reset your activations.

Browser entitlement questions

NitroGPT Pro for Chrome/Chromium includes Google Chrome and supported Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera). NitroGPT Pro for Firefox is a separate browser entitlement. The All-Browser bundle covers both.

If you purchased a single-browser license and later want to add the second browser family, you can purchase the second single-browser license at the standard price. The bundle discount is only available at initial purchase.

Browser compatibility

NitroGPT is built for Google Chrome and Firefox. It should also work in supported Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, and Opera, but Chrome and Firefox are the primary tested browsers. Compatibility with all Chromium-based browsers is not guaranteed against future browser updates.
