Virtual Scrolling
NitroGPT removes older messages from the browser DOM, keeping only your most recent exchanges rendered. Hidden messages are stored and fully restorable at any time.
Load Previous
A banner appears at the top of your conversation showing how many older messages are hidden. Click "Load previous" to restore them in chunks, or "Load all" to show everything at once.
Token Counter
See an estimated token count for messages currently loaded in your browser. Color-coded at 8k, 20k, and 50k tokens so you can spot heavy sessions at a glance.
Message Count Badge
A subtle badge shows how many messages are visible vs. total in the conversation, so you always know how much context is loaded.
Visible Messages Slider

No. NitroGPT stores hidden messages locally in memory (not on a server).
You can restore them at any time by clicking "Load previous" or "Load all"
in the banner that appears in your conversation. If you reload the page,
ChatGPT will load the full conversation again.
After your 7-day Pro trial, the free plan keeps 15 messages visible
(fixed — no slider) and allows 30 optimized prompts per day. Pro features
like the visible-messages slider (5-30), Silent Mode, and Unlimited
Optimized Prompts require a NitroGPT Pro license.
NitroGPT is built and tested for Google Chrome and Firefox. It should
also work in supported Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge,
Brave, Vivaldi, and Opera. Compatibility with all Chromium browsers is
not guaranteed.
All paid plans include 3 active browser installations. You can deactivate
NitroGPT on your current browser from within the extension popup. If you
no longer have access to an old browser or computer, open a support ticket
and we can help reset your activations.
Lifetime means access for the lifetime of the NitroGPT product, as long
as NitroGPT remains actively maintained and technically compatible with
supported browsers and ChatGPT. NitroGPT depends on the ChatGPT web
interface, which is controlled by OpenAI. We actively maintain
compatibility, but cannot guarantee against all future third-party changes.
